Book Review: The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer

Lost in a world where no one understands her. Panicked for the things she thinks she's just imagining. That they aren't there and they aren't real. Accused by her conscience that she's a murderer. Mara Dyer, a 17 year-old girl who's responsible for five murders including her best friend Rachel.
After the tragic accident in Rhode Island her family moved to another place to live a new life and set things back where they have to be. It's hard for Mara to cope-up and move on. However, she's kind glad that her family supports her all through out. Though her parents think she needs medical help because of her nightmares, hallucinations and imaginations that she sees people whom she thinks she murdered. Psychotic. All she ever thought of herself. Until Noah Shaw came into her world. A popular, handsome and rich guy whom she thought was as playboy because most students in her school said so including Jamie Roth, her only friend in her new place.
They will both unravel the fabric covering their lives. She and Noah. She needs him and he needs her. She can't imagine falling in love after what she's been through.

*breathes deep* WOW. WOW. WOW.
I can't believe I've read this book twice in my life. (I'm looking forward for the third time)  It's just so freaking awesome!!! It's very far from what I've expected from the first time I saw the book. It's very intriguing, very fresh, totally mind blowing and kinda creepy. But the romance is just so perfect here. It's not so annoying. Just the exact amount of romance made it really.. as in really.. darn sweet. I swear, one page will burst you out laughing and will make you feel romantic and the next page will make you hide in to your mum's skirt.
I liked Mara. She's strong and brave. I hope her parents could understand everything. Even her siblings.

What I really liked about it is the development of the characters was emphasized and totally have built the story into one perfect structure. It has a potential becoming a movie, you know.. And I'm not surprised by the cliff-hanger. What would you expect? It's a trilogy and this was just the first.

Shadow and Bone (Grisha Verse, #1) Review

Hold your grip everyone! This book will blow you a real fantasy experience through reading! Shadow and Bone has a lot to offer the readers because it covers many aspects in the society (reality) that turned into fiction-kick ass portrayal, friendship, trust, betrayal and magic. This is tricky, lovely and amazing book. I love fantasy. I love Shadow and Bone! PLOT SUMMARY: Alina Starkov is a teenaged orphan, a citizen of Kingdom of Ravka. She grew up with Mal Oretsev. As the story begins they are marching to the Unsea (fold), a perpetually dark, barren, strip of land cutting most of Ravka off from the sea. Periodic expeditions are sent across to take goods to the sea, and bring back imports. The crossing is dangerous, because the Unsea is inhabited by monsters named Volcra. Early in their crossing, the Volcra attack, and, while saving Mal, Alina displays an extraordinary Grisha talent. The Grisha are Ravkan with singular powers, e.g. to call fire, to create wind, to stop hear

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

“You are all the colors in one, at full brightness.” –Theodore Finch Who would’ve thought that this book can make you weep so much at the end? Yes I did. I cried in the middle of the night because of this book. Finch was such a good person and very funny. His character (in the book) was straight to the heart that you won’t doubt every move he did and you would feel the outburst of feelings through him. I liked him. I like the book. It’s shocking, moving, eye opening and sad but the humor is still there. The writing style is good. You won’t miss any moment because it was written clearly. And putting quotes and facts are a PLUS because you won’t just see the author’s idea in her character but also her ideas or thought to other things that may expand the reader’s interest. I liked the book so much I want to hug the author! She didn’t just shared Finch and Violet’s heart to me but she also showed and toured me to the whole Indiana. I felt like I traveled with her character
